1 year ago TODAY...

I am sitting here exhausted from baking a cake all day and wrapping presents and planning the final itty bitty details for baby A's first birthday. I can't beleive she is one year old! Where did the last year go? :) I thought it fitting that we see where the time went and I'd like to share how my little flower has grown over the last 12 months! Maybe we'll see why my postes have been few and far between.

Ahhh... Sweet Baby Girl at 32 weeks gestation. I loved her at first sight!

February 13, 2011... Welcome to our home baby A! What a rough night and way to come into the world, but you are here and we are so glad to finally meet you!

1 month old! What a cutie! (The first few weeks Baby A has limited mobility of her neck because she suffered from minor shoulder displacia during deliver. Poor kid!)

Look at that sweet smile!!! Happy 2 months Baby A!

In May you were 3 months! We bought your very first tutu so you and daddy could be patriotic! :)

June brought our trip to Michigan to introduce you to Grandma and Grandpa. And of course we visited Notre Dame! Go Irish! 4 months
In July, you celebrated 5 months! :)
6 months! It was hot in Texas for August, but you loved going to the pool with the boys!

7 months meant it was football season for the ACC, so we all put on our Red and White from State! :)

8 months... Happy Halloween! :)

9 months in November and we are cheering on the Wolfpack one more time! :)

At 10 months we began our move. You were such a trooper! a month sleeping in a Pack N Play is not fun. :(

11 months... I blinked and you grew up Sweet Girl!
1 week before turning 1 year old! Where did the time go??? I love you Baby A! I can't wait to see what your second year brings!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY A!!!!! We all love you very very much!!!!

Friday Fragments

Oh I have been so bad... She probably thought I dropped off the face of the earth, but I haven't. :) I'm joining Mrs.4444 at Half Past Kissin' Time for my version of Friday Fragments.

This week Baby A and I tried a new playgroup. Baby A has been starving for other kids since we left Mrs. Carla's, and the boys just weren't cutting it. I think we found one we like too. We'll see....

Have you ever had a Groundhog's Day? That has been my life for the last 4 weeks. Every day the same thing... Well this week I think we might just get back to routine. (Thank goodness!) It appears that M's class is finally up and running so it it just Baby A and I here at the house until the boys get home from school. I love that M has been home with us daily, but there comes a time when everyone is just plain ready to get the ball rolling and have their routine back. And trust me... We were ready!!!

It snowed here for the first time in 2012. Ha ha ha... Makes it sound like it's been forever, right? My kids were in seventh heaven! They were plotting and planning their sled routes and the snowman they were going to build and no school... Until they learned that kids go to school here even when it snows. Oh much to the disappointment of the boys they had to wait 8 hours before they could fully enjoy the cold wet white stuff! I imagine my kids were itching all day to get out in it. I felt sorry for them a little because we have been living in Texas for almost 5 years and snow is almost no existent. We also didn't have any hills to sled on either. Before Texas were in DC and we managed to avoid the snow the entire time we were there except twice. Poor kids... They did enjoy some fun on the slopes before dinner though... Check it out:

Today Baby A is exactly 11 months old. I can't believe that in just 4 weeks she will be 1. She is such a joy in our lives and most certainly completes our family. We needed her in our lives, and God is so good. Here are a few of my favorite baby girl shots over the last few days.

What is that face?

OK, I chopped of part of my husband... This technique I learned from my Mom. She used to cut off all parts of us when taking photos. LOL

So tired....

Snow baby wanna be.

Waiting for my brothers.

I committed myself to working out in 2012, and I have to tell you I love it! I'm not really sure why, but when I don't get a work out in I feel kinda sad. I haven't stepped on a scale yet because while I've started working out, I haven't given up food just yet. :) I know... That is next, but I love food! I have gotten my walking down to a 17 mile and I can actually do a slow jog without feeling winded after about 5 minutes. I'm pretty proud of myself! :) Stay tuned....

Well that wraps up my FF for the week. I hope next week brings good things too. :) Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!!
